About our name: Frypan PardnersAbout Betsy FryPrior to 1998, Betsy’s experience was primarily in tradeshow events, including a five-year production of her own Great Lakes Construction Expo at the Cleveland IX Center. This event required a complex move-in for heavy equipment displays and pre-show freight, all of which varied annually. Having relocated to Oklahoma, Betsy became the tradeshow manager for Aerospace America International Airshow in 1999. The Airshow was to be at C.E. Page Airport in Yukon as a tent event with approximately 40,000-50,000 attending. In 2001 the Airshow returned to Will Rogers World Airport and enjoyed a slightly larger audience. At all locations, the huge tradeshow tent was an integral part for event funding, increasing the $6,000 tradeshow revenue Aerospace America earned in 1998 to $75,000 for the Spring 2004 Airshow, while reducing cost by more than 60%. Betsy served on the Airshow steering committee. She was responsible for pre-show sales, sub-event budget with accounting & collection, custom contracts, volunteer coordination, vendor move-in & set up, on-site operations for participants, and subsequent move-out and teardown. Betsy did not coordinate for aircraft except when circumstances required very special display. In 2006, Betsy joined Bill Veazey’s Party Store, using the title Tradeshow Specialist. Her event expertise, however, expanded to principal events of all types, privately or publicly attended, indoors or in tents, with or without stage activity, some with livestock. Betsy’s event management experience encompasses solid common sense and:
Membership in professional groups is also a vital part of Betsy’s ongoing activity:
